Designer’s Point is a full home remodeling company based in Rolling Meadows, IL. We specialize in kitchen and bath remodeling but are capable of doing any remodeling job inside a home. We are a full-service remodeling company, meaning we manage every aspect of the project from start to finish leaving no work for the client.
Moreover, we believe that every home should reflect its owner’s unique taste and lifestyle. For this reason, we take time to hear to our client’s needs, likes, and dislikes, to develop a truly personal and unique design.

Our Story
Designer’s Point was founded in 2012 by a group of former employees from The Great Indoors, a well-known home improvement store. The same day when The Great Indoors announced they were going out of business, Dick Minar and Karen Schone decided they were going to start their own business. Pretty soon, they recruited more people and the team started working from Dick’s basement with a vision to create a company that would offer comprehensive, custom home remodeling services. By July of 2012, Designer’s Point had incorporated, found a location, and took possession of their showroom. Over the next few months, they transformed the space, building the showroom and establishing relationships with suppliers who they knew and trusted. In November, Designer’s Point opened its doors for customers to visit the showroom and had its grand opening in February 2013.
Since then, Designer’s Point has grown into a trusted name in the home remodeling industry with its excellent services. The team currently possesses a combined experience of 135 years in the trade. With this wealth of experience and a passion for kitchen and bath remodeling, we ensure every project is handled with expertise and precision. Designer’s Point prides itself in its commitment to listening to clients and providing personalized, beautiful, and most importantly, functional spaces that meet their unique needs. Our success lies in our full-service approach to remodeling projects and our personalized attention to each of our clients.
